STORM Program:

Resilient Residences Commitment is a dedicated division of the San Diego Urban Sustainability Coalition (SDUSC) that leads the organization's efforts to advance equitable home decarbonization. As the home of the STORM Program (Strategies for Technology-driven Operational Resilience and Mitigation), this department is focused on supporting climate-resilient upgrades in communities of concern across San Diego. Through education, outreach, and direct service delivery, Resilient Residences works to reduce carbon emissions, promote energy efficiency, and ensure that historically underserved neighborhoods are not left behind in the transition to a cleaner, healthier future. The long-term goal is to build a scalable model that begins in San Diego and expands to support sustainable housing solutions beyond the region.
